Ruto Praises XCMG: Powering Kenya's Green Infrastructure
China and Kenya formally established diplomatic relations in 1963. Having weathered 62 years of shared hardships, the two countries have consistently adhered to the principles of mutual respect and support, deeply inheriting the spirit of China-Africa friendship and cooperation and the spirit of the Silk Road, steadily advancing the China-Kenya comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to a higher level.
Recently, at the groundbreaking ceremony for Kenya's first green fertilizer production project invested and constructed by a Chinese enterprise—a project with an annual output of 4.8 million tons of green fertilizer and supporting a geothermal power plant—Kenya President William Ruto personally attended and test-drove an XCMG excavator. After the test drive, President Ruto highly praised the equipment's precise control performance and efficient operation, commending the core strength of "Made in China."
XCMG's complete set of construction machinery has been actively involved in numerous major engineering projects in Kenya (an East African country).
